BUILT BY THE PEOPLE
WHO NEEDED IT MOST
Two tradespeople solving lubrication tasks.
Kevin and Josch are the driving force behind Lubie, combining electrical and mechanical expertise with real-world experience across mining operations in the Pilbara and offshore.
Kevin, a qualified electrician and experienced supervisor, is known for building strong teams, driving safety, and delivering reliable outcomes in demanding environments. His leadership on site and focus on practical solutions laid the foundation for Lubie.
Josch brings a mechanical background, with years spent maintaining heavy equipment across Australia - including rotating machinery, gearboxes, conveyors, and critical lubrication systems. He understands firsthand that lubrication is routine - but if done wrong, the consequences can be catastrophic.
Frustrated by the inefficiencies and challenges faced during everyday lubrication tasks, Josch began designing practical solutions straight from the field - turning on-site problems into real-world products.
Together, they founded Lubie to support the often-overlooked lubrication technician - creating equipment that is built from experience, improves safety, and makes the job easier and more efficient.

Josch
Mechanical Background · Lubrication Specialist
Josch spent years maintaining heavy equipment across Australia - rotating machinery, gearboxes, hydraulics and oil circulating systems, mobile plant and all the lubrication systems that keep them running. He understands lubrication maintenance as a routine procedure that is vital, but catastrophic if not performed correctly.
Each item Josch has designed comes from direct exposure to the frustrations that plague routine lubrication tasks on site. He began sketching practical fixes straight after shift, turning repeated field problems into products that make the work safer and easier.

Electrical Background · Safety & Compliance Lead
Kevin Cormack is the Director of Lubie, with a trade background as an electrician and years of experience leading teams across mining operations in the Pilbara. He's known on site for driving safety, building strong teams, and delivering reliable outcomes in high-pressure environments.
Seeing the day-to-day challenges faced by lubrication technicians, Kevin founded Lubie to create practical, no-nonsense equipment designed from real experience - not theory. His focus is simple: give lube techs the tools they need to work safer, faster, and with pride in their role.

Functionality Is the Foundation
FUNCTIONALITY IS THE FOUNDATION.
Every LUBIE bag is engineered to ensure tasks are completed in the safest way possible across Australian mining operations.
E-waste Separation
Dedicated sealed compartment for batteries, testers, and electronic components - physically isolated from all hydrocarbon-contaminated materials. Meets Australian mining site e-waste handling requirements.
Hydrocarbon Containment
Aiming to keep hydrocarbon events contained from the start, avoid any incidents and keep your site work areas looking good for the enviros.
Push-Pocket Battery Access
The dedicated push-pocket keeps your battery pack accessible without mixing it into the main compartment. Swap batteries in seconds, one-handed, without putting the bag down.
Lube Route-Ready Layout
Every compartment opens independently. A safety officer can verify your separation setup in under 30 seconds without you unpacking anything. Because compliance should never slow you down.
The Solution
One bag. Every requirement. No excuses.
The LUBIE SPL bag started as a sketch after a shift and became a prototype built in a local garage. Josch and Kevin tested every version on real sites, with real lubricators, in real conditions - adjusting the compartment layout, the carry geometry, and the zipper placement until the bag just worked.
Available in SPL 250 and SPL 500 to match your lubricator volume. Built from 1000D Cordura for sites that will test it. Designed so the right compartment is always where your hand expects it to be.
LUBIE is not a gear brand that guessed at what field technicians need. It is what happens when the people with the problem are also the people who build the solution.
